My Journey
I graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 2012 with a BS in Elementary and Special Education. In 2013, I earned my MS with a specialization in reading. Since then, my career has included a classroom teacher in a functional life skills program, a general education teacher for third and fourth grades, a Registered Behavior Technician in both the home and school settings, and a Learning Support Specialist.
I decided to begin my journey as a pediatric sleep consultant while pregnant with our first child. I know a lot about behavior change and behavior modification, but I wanted to know more
about the developmental milestones a child progresses through in order to deepen my understanding of pediatric sleep. I love my sleep and I love the peaceful life I had prior to having our first baby. I know, funny right? You are probably thinking, “Pshh, clearly this woman is a first-time mom” or “wait until she has more children” but hear me out. It is possible - behavior modification/behavior change - like losing or gaining weight, learning how to play an instrument for the first time, or speaking a new language takes consistency. One of my favorite mantras is, “consistency compounds results”.
What they are saying …
“As a first time parent, working with Maureen was incredibly valuable. We met ahead of my daughter’s arrival to discuss sleep best practices and I left with a ton of confidence. Maureen armed us with a customized sleep schedule and a variety of other helpful assets I continue to refer back to. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

"When we started sleep training with Maureen, I'd have to admit, I was a bit skeptical. To be fair, I hadn't heard of any of my friends or family who used this method, but I was up for anything. Let's just say, I'm not going back any other way. Maureen was fantastic when it came to personalizing the program to our daughter who had a feeding tube at the time. Cora's sleep schedule/routine is AMAZING. Now that she's 16 months old, when we say our special bedtime phrase "It's night nighttime", Cora knows exactly what to do. Not only does she put herself to sleep once placed in her crib, but when she wakes up, she simply hangs out quietly/chatting to herself until we come and get her. Every time we travel to visit friends and family, they always comment on how great of a sleeper Cora is. Now that number two is on the way, we will definitely be reaching out to Maureen again."

At 18 months, my husband and I thought we were at the point of no return with our son’s sleep. Finally, after a week of little sleep and a lot of frustration, I reached out to Maureen for help. She responded quickly, providing us with hope and a personalized routine that we were eager to set into motion. In just a few days we started to see improvements, and before we knew it our son was able to fall asleep on his own and we were all sleeping through the night! We were impressed by how involved she was, answering questions and making adjustments as needed. Maureen was with us every step of the way and we are forever grateful!

My experience with Maureen has been absolutely wonderful. No matter how difficult of a situation you may be in with sleep, Maureen is there to support you every step of the way. She is caring, kind, understanding, and nonjudgmental. So thankful for her support!
